All that we need now is the darling sun, beautiful flowers, open windows, long window treatments with gorgeous white and cream tulles, lots and lots of laces, pure white linens, the sweet aroma of fresh French Bread and bruschettas, refreshing songs from Pink Martini, colorful New England Chairs - not forgetting the soft sand under our bare feet and smell of the shores.

Project: Flowers of Happiest

Well, this all began quite a while back. A couple of years before we moved to the States, I was in Frankfurt for a presentation and some business meetings. During the same time, my husband was in Madrid for the International Newspaper Association Summit. We were to return to Istanbul on our own separate ways, but my husband had a different plan. “Hey, let’s meet in London and go back home together,” he said over the phone. “I have something to show you there.”

Ever since I was a little child, I get very emotional when I achieve something or come across something good. Be it reading an amazingly written piece of work or visiting an art gallery; whether it is watching a stage performance or a movie - even if it is animated… I start to cry. Seriously! I cried while watching Toy Story, and I couldn’t even figure out why!
